Rafaela Conde is a Canadian/Brazilian artist based in Toronto. Her practice is primarily grounded in analogue photography and often considers the representation of portraiture, human condition, environmental presence and documentary hybridity. Most currently her work navigates between documenting overlapping archetypal symbols from her environments and reframing her subject matter through narrative approaches.
